Any State which has undertaken to comply with the Statutes of IIAS can apply for membership.
How to Apply :
An official letter must be sent to IIAS requesting membership and stipulating that the State agrees to comply with IIAS Statutes. The Council of Administration approves State membership requests, on the proposal of the Executive Committee.
Annual Membership fees :
Annual contribution: based on the United Nations scale (Minimum contribution: 1.429 Euros; except for small States – a list of which has been drawn up by the Executive Committee - whose contribution is only 281 Euros).

In a Member State : Any group of professionally qualified persons, which has undertaken to comply with the Statutes of IIAS can become a member.
In a non-Member State : Any group of professionally qualified persons, which has undertaken to comply with the Statutes of IIAS can become a member.
How to Apply :
The membership request form must be completed and returned to IIAS, together with a copy of the Statutes of the organisation in one of the two IIAS official languages. It is highly recommended that candidate organisations seeking IIAS National Section membership enclose activity reports, projects accomplished, as well as any document that might illustrate their national characteristic or establishment.
In a Member State : The Executive Committee approves National Section membership requests.
In a Non-Member State : The Council of Administration approves National Section membership requests, on the proposal of the Executive Committee.
Annual Membership fees :
In a Member State : 76,50 Euros
In a non-Member State: 40% of the contribution which would be due by their country if it were a Member State (Minimum contribution : 572 Euros).

Any duly established institutions or associations whose activities, on an international or regional level, are in the field of public administration.
How to Apply :
The membership request form must be completed and returned to IIAS, together with a copy of the Statutes of the organisation in one of the two IIAS official languages. The Executive Committee approves Corporate membership requests.
In countries where there is a National Section, the National Section concerned shall be notified of any application for corporate membership. In the absence of a negative recommendation by the National Section within three months of such notification, the Executive Committee may confer corporate membership as requested.
Annual Membership fees :
225 Euros or 408 Euros (if the member wishes to receive free-of-charge the publications published within the year)
