The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) is pleased to welcome Noé Gomez-Villalba and Pearl Beleyn, who have joined the IIAS team in Brussels for three-month internships, from August to November 2026. Bringing different academic, professional and international backgrounds, they will contribute to the Institute’s work in archives, communication and administration.

Noé Gomez-Villalba

Originally from Etterbeek, Belgium, Noé holds a bachelor’s degree in History and two master’s degrees, one in History, with a focus on archives and documents, and another in Archaeological Sciences.

At IIAS, Noé is working on the Institute’s archives, cataloguing its documentary collections and helping identify important materials for digitisation. His work will contribute to preserving IIAS’s institutional memory and making its historical records more accessible for the future.

Pearl Beleyn

Born in Belgium and with roots in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Pearl has lived in several countries, including Canada and Luxembourg, before returning to Belgium to study Communication at the European Communication School. She speaks French, English and Swahili, as well as some Spanish and German.

At IIAS, Pearl is supporting the Communication and Administration teams, contributing to content creation across the Institute’s platforms, event coverage and day-to-day activities. Her international background, communication skills and creative perspective bring valuable new contributions to the team.
