Diogo Pereira,

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) has received an unqualified audit opinion on its 2025 financial statements following the annual external audit conducted by Herbert Baumgartner and Manuela Ernst of the Austrian Supreme Audit Institution.

The auditors confirmed that the financial statements present a fair and accurate view of the Institute’s financial position, reflecting IIAS’s commitment to transparency and sound financial management.

For 2025, IIAS reported total revenues of €1,178,027.35 and total expenses of €1,076,872.95, resulting in a surplus of €101,154.40. Available reserves stood at €533,026.10 at year-end.

These results demonstrate the Institute’s continued financial stability and support the delivery of its activities, programmes, and services to the international public administration community.

IIAS expresses its appreciation to the auditors for their work and continued support in ensuring the integrity of the Institute’s financial oversight processes.

The European Group for Public Administration (EGPA) invites scholars and practitioners to propose new initiatives for its 2027 Annual Conference, taking place at Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary, from 24 to 27 August 2027. EGPA provides a European forum for public administration scholars and practitioners to present research, exchange perspectives and develop collaborations across public administration, public management and public policy. The call welcomes proposals for three formats: Permanent Study Groups (PSGs), Ad Hoc Groups (AHGs) and Specialised Panels (SPs). EGPA looks forward to welcoming new initiatives, perspectives and research communities that will enrich its 2027 Annual Conference and contribute to the development of public administration research across Europe and beyond.

The conference introduced a call for papers across fourteen thematic tracks and an interactive programme to help participants navigate its activities.
