IIAS Opens Call for Service Provider for the French Edition of IRAS

Diogo Pereira,

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) is inviting proposals from experienced service providers to manage the production of the French-language edition of the International Review of Administrative Sciences (IRAS), the Revue Internationale des Sciences Administratives (RISA).

Published four times a year, RISA makes the content of IIAS’s international academic journal available to its French-speaking readership. IIAS is seeking a single external provider to manage the production process, from the receipt of final English-language articles through translation and manuscript preparation to the delivery of the final French edition to Cairn.

The assignment includes English-to-French translation management, manuscript preparation, proofreading and quality control, production coordination, and subscriber and contributor management. The selected provider will also be responsible for handling personal data in compliance with applicable GDPR requirements.

IIAS is particularly looking for candidates with experience in academic journal production and English-to-French translation management, familiarity with publishing platforms such as Cairn, and strong project management and communication skills.

Interested service providers should submit a technical and financial proposal, including their methodology, proposed timeline, CVs of key personnel and examples of similar work. The deadline for applications is 18 September 2026.

For full details on the scope of work, requirements and evaluation criteria, please read the complete Terms of Reference. Proposals and any questions regarding the ToR should be sent to Marco De la Cruz, IIAS Scientific Director, at m.delacruz@iias-iisa.org, with Sofiane Sahraoui, IIAS Director General, at s.sahraoui@iias-iisa.org in copy.
