The IIAS Open Access Project (OAP), a leading initiative supporting authors in publishing their research in scientific journals, is delighted to announce the call for papers for the Central European Public Administration Review (CEPAR).
CEPAR seeks to contribute to the theoretical and practical progress of public administration in Central European and other countries, adopting European principles. CEPAR addresses contemporary issues such as globalization, crises, post-socialist transitions, digitalization, delegation of powers, migrations, the strive for the rule of law, transparency and participation in public issues, as well as efficiency and accountability challenges and reforms. The journal provides a platform for multidisciplinary and scientifically sound discussions, vital for the development of societies influenced by public administration.
CEPAR is an esteemed journal indexed and referred to by various prominent databases, including ESCI (Emerging Sources Citation Index, Clarivate Analytics), HeinOnline, ECONLIT, CNKI SCHOLAR, EBSCO, IPSA - International Political Science Abstracts, IBSS, WPSA, SSRN, CSA Proquest, ERIH+, ULRICH's, and Google Scholar. The journal also upholds the ethical standards of best practice as prescribed by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), and it is a member of reputable associations such as the European Association of Science Editors (EASE) and OpenAIRE. Furthermore, it is part of the CEE Network of Public Administration and Policy Journals.
As a partner of the IIAS Open Access Project, CEPAR aligns with IIAS's commitment to improving public governance research, education, and practice worldwide. The IIAS OAP supports authors by providing publication opportunities in partner journals. Notably, 50 papers have already been routed to partner open-access journals from 90 full papers submitted to IIAS events.
