IASIA Announces Forthcoming Elections for 2025–2028 Board and President

The International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) has officially opened the election process for its Board of Management and President for the 2025–2028 term. Elections will take place on 14 October 2025, during the Annual General Meeting held as part of the IASIA 2025 Conference, scheduled for 13–17 October in Mexico City, Mexico.

This key governance milestone reaffirms IASIA’s commitment to inclusive leadership and active member participation in shaping the future of public administration education and research worldwide.

Key Details and Deadlines

IASIA Corporate Members in good standing are invited to submit nominations in accordance with the Association’s Statutes and Regulations (Article 3.5, ii), which stipulate that nominations must be submitted by either a Corporate Member institution or a Regional Vice-President.

To be eligible for nomination and voting, candidates must have fully paid their IASIA membership fees for both 2024 and 2025 by 30 September 2025.

  • Completed Nomination Form

  • Curriculum Vitae

  • Cover Letter

For Presidential Candidates (must be elected Board members):

  • Completed Nomination Form

  • Curriculum Vitae

  • Cover Letter

  • Letter of Institutional Support (confirming administrative and financial backing)

  • Short Vision Note (outlining the candidate’s vision for IASIA 2025–2028)

  • At least one Letter of Support from another IASIA Corporate Member

Important Notes

  • Only IASIA Corporate Members may nominate or be nominated.

  • Elections will be held in person in Mexico City on 14 October 2025 during the IASIA Annual General Meeting.

  • The elected Board and President will serve a three-year term from 2025 to 2028.
