Around 280 participants from 49 countries participated in this year’s annual IASIA Conference which was held from 3 to 8 August in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Thanks to the hard work of the local organizing committee under the leadership of Prof. Bianor Cavalcanti from the Fundação Getulio Vargas, the Rapporteur General, Prof. Valeria Termini from the Italian National School of Public Administration and the Chairs and Project Directors of the Working Groups, special and plenary sessions, the Conference was a major success, both in terms of attendance and scientific content.
