The last meeting of the IASIA Board of Management took place at the IIAS Secretariat in Brussels, Belgium on 21 and 22 February 2011. 22 members of the Board of Management, several observers as well as the IIAS Director General and the IASIA Executive Secretary participated in the meeting. Issues discussed included the 2011 Conference in Rome, Italy, IASIA’s 50th Anniversary which will be commemorated this year, Finances, Publications, IASIA Regulations and Statutes as well as the setting up of Committee dealing with international accreditation. Furthermore, the Board of Management approved the adherence of ten new Institutional members. The next meeting of the Board of Management will take place in Rome, Italy during the upcoming annual Conference on 13 and 17 June 2011.
