THE BOARD OF MANAGEMENT
It consists of the President of IASIA - elected by the Board of Management - the immediate Past President, the functional and regional Vice Presidents and twenty-five members from member organisations nominated on a regional basis.
The vice-presidents are selected by the president and approved by the Board of Management. Members hold office for three years. The Board meets twice a year.
THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING,
All members are entitled to participate to the AGM that takes place on the occasion of the Annual Conference. Every three years, members of the Board of Management other than the vice-presidents are elected at this meeting.
THE SECRETARIAT
The Secretary of the Association assists the President and Board in carrying out the Association's functions and work programme. The Executive Secretary operates from the headquarters of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences in Brussels.

The Secretary is Johannes Irschik. Johannes is Austrian and grew up in Vienna. After obtaining a Master's degree in History as well as British and American Studies at the University of Vienna, he recently graduated from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, a postgraduate school for international studies.
