We (Paul Joyce and Robert Fouchet) are now inviting abstracts of conference papers for the Permanent Study Group XI (Strategic Management in Government) sessions at the 2010 EGPA annual conference to be held in Toulouse 7-10 September 2010.
In this Call for Papers we provide guidance and information on:
- What themes or questions should abstracts/papers address?
- How will the process be handled by us?
- What are the deadlines?
What themes or questions should abstracts/papers address?
A call for papers for the Toulouse conference in September 2010 is based on the title ‘The state of the art of strategic management in government – how does strategic management actually work in practice?’
Papers should address one of the following five themes:
- Definitions and Concepts for Strategic Management in Government
- International Comparisons and Case Studies of Strategic Management in Central Government
- International Comparisons and Case Studies of Strategic Management Elsewhere in Government and Public Services
- Developing and Maintaining Effective Strategic Management Systems and Processes
- Other Strategic Management Related Topics
