The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) in partnership with the European Group for Public Administration (EGPA), the Ecole nationale d’administration (ENA Maroc), the Groupement de Recherche sur Espace et Territoires (GRET), the Institut de Management Public et Gouvernance Territoriale (IMPGT) Université Aix-Marseille, the Centre Africain de Formation et de Recherche Administrative pour le Développement (CAFRAD) and the Hanns Seidel Foundation, have the pleasure to invite you to the 1st French-speaking African Forum which will be held at ENA, Rabat in Morocco, 5 and 6 April 2012.

This forum will focus on debates on the theme "Local territories, Governance and Development in Africa". We have prepared, to your intention an issue paper on this theme which you will find as an appendix.
