Dear friends of IIAS, dear readers,
Year after year, the research of working or project groups of theInternational Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) and its two constituent organisations, namely the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) and the European Group of Public Administration (EGPA), have resulted in the publication of reference works in the field of the administrative sciences. The theme of these publications is generally centred on critical governance issues. However, in the mass of specialized publications, it is not always easy for a researcher or practitioner to find his/her way or to be aware of what has been published or will soon be published under the auspices of IIAS.
It is for this very reason: to come to the aid of this reading public, as interested and diversified as our Institute, that the initiative has been taken – by its Publications Director, Professor Gérard Timsit, and the Directorate General – to develop a new « product » whose purpose is to present a current overview of publications. This « product » is what you are holding in your hands or what you may see on your screen: « Publi-Flash »!
Thus today we are submitting to you the first edition of this newsletter that will be published three times per year. We do hope that it will be of assistance to you and, especially, stimulate your interest in the publications listed.
In advance we thank you for the welcome that you might give this new product and we assure you that we remain open to any proposal that could improve its quality. Here and now we wish you good reading!
