With the generous help of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), the IIAS Project Group on Supranational Administration met for its annual Seminar in Geneva, Switzerland at the United Nations.  Around 70 specialists in international administrative law, from over 40 International Organisations, met to discuss the following issues:
  • Privileges and Immunities (P&I)
  • Procedures
  • Professional obligations versus freedom of expression
  • Same-sex partnerships (revisited)
  • Recent trends in labour law of international organisations
  • Decision-making (enlargement, role of associated states)
The participants of the seminar also enjoyed a welcome reception at CERN and a dinner organized in the wonderful surroundings of the ‘Chateau de Penthes’. Some photos taken during the seminar may be accessed below.
