Knowledge Portal

After many months of careful planning and implementation, the International Institute of Administrative Sciences is proud to announce the launch of its Knowledge Portal on Public Administration. It still bears the "Beta" label, but before becoming a tool and an indispensable source of information for public administration enthusiasts, we now need you the users. News from around the globe, thematic issues, calendars and discussion forums are some of the features you'll find.
If this project makes you eager to participate in its development in any way whatsoever (for example, by keeping us informed of events or by sending us links to articles or sites of interest for instance), please read the Portal’s “How to use the website” page.
In the meantime, we are counting on your feedback to improve it. Please do not hesitate to contact Fabienne Maron (f.maron@iias-iisa.org) or Mélissa Monaco (m.monaco@iias-iisa.org) to report any problems, to share ideas, etc.
Bookmark one of these links now:

We hope you enjoy discovering the Portal!

Finances

The 2009 annual accounts have been drawn up provisionally. They will be presented during the upcoming statutory meetings of IIAS. We can now inform you that they are in conformity with the preliminary budget established, with regard to income, expenditure and the final outcome. During the second series of statutory meetings, to take place in Bali, the final 2009 annual accounts will be presented for the approval of the Council of Administration. The Council of Administration will have the opportunity of examining the accounts under two different formats (the legal Belgian accounting format and the newly established analytical format).

Marketing

The development of the “Business Plan” in close cooperation with MCI, an independent consultant, is progressing well.
A first draft will be presented during the Executive Committee in March. Kindly note that, during the statutory meetings, the members of the Executive Committee have been invited to participate in a “Business Plan” workshop. Along side this project, the IIAS is introducing a comprehensive series of measures to revise its different communication tools. During the second semester, we look forward to presenting the
finalised versions of these two projects.
