The Public Administration Institute for Turkey and the Middle East - TODAIE, on its 56th Anniversary, has given us the honour and pleasure to invite you to participate in the 4th International Specialised Conference of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) in Ankara, Turkey from 23 to 27 June 2008.

International Aid and Public Administration

Bob Bonwitt, Head of the Sigma Programme (OECD), was the Rapporteur General of the Conference. He was responsible for the scientific preparation of this event and was be assisted by a team of Rapporteurs and keynotes speakers from different regions of the world. The Fellow Rapporteurs were Michiel de Vries (Netherlands) and Omer Bozkurt (Turkey).

The following topics were addressed:

  2. Drivers of outcomes – aid agencies and aid technology
  3. Aid to Governance – the record
  4. Improving the assistance process
