The IIAS would like to share with its members the announcement of the AIRMAP’s (Association Internationale de Recherche en Management Public) 6th Annual Conference which will take place in Nice, France, on June 1st and 2nd, 2017.
The theme will be: “Is Public Management Universal” ?
The universality can be defined as the character of what concerns all mankind. The concept of universal public management implies also questioning the application of theories, models but also the evolutions and the consideration of a public sphere that would be shared by all. Even though we notce the omnipresence of the main stream New Public Management within major trends, alternatives can be observed, in particular with the development of neo-Weberian types of approach. The queston of universal models formulates a choice between an international model and national specificities implying necessarily specific models.
